Outreach is a part of the identity of Saint Catherine’s

Paul’s Place, named after the late Paul Warwick, is our community soup kitchen, offered every Wednesday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm in conjunction with the SHARE food bank. Saint Catherine's serves on second, third and fifth Wednesdays; first and fourth Wednesdays are run with the participation of other church groups. Every Thanksgiving we serve a full Thanksgiving dinner to those who would otherwise have no Thanksgiving celebration. We worship at several local retirement homes. At Christmas, we offer a special Christmas service and luncheon for the elderly; after Christmas our younger members sing carols for those in retirement homes and care facilities. During Lent, the young people of the parish lead fundraising activity for a chosen charity: for example, raising funds for the Heifer Project. We have a pastoral care team that visits those who are unable to attend church or attend social functions on a regular basis.
